Sheena Reed

Sheena is returning for her 3rd season as a Minnnesota Minx Coach. Historically, she has been the Defensive Line coach but this season she is stepping up as the Assistant Head Coach, Special Teams Coordinator, and Webmaster.
Prior to coaching, Sheena played 6 seasons of tackle football on the Wisconsin Warriors (2013) and Minnesota Vixen (2016, 2017, 2020, 2021, 2022). Some of Sheena's player accomplishments are 2016 Defensive Player of the Year and 1st Team All American in 2013 and 2016. Sheena's highest playing accomplishment is being selected for the 2022 United States Women's National Football team and earning a gold medal in Finland.
Outside of football, she is a competitive powerlifter, participating in meets such as the Women's ProAm in Cincinnati, OH and the Twin Cities Barbell meet, placing 1st in her weight class. Professionally, Sheena is a Software Tester for Protolabs. In her free time, she enjoys leathercrafting, reading, baking, and playing games. Sheena is excited to see the growth of the team this season and support the players in their athletic journey.
